  • LM700 Model: A high-performance solution in a compact design, perfect for labs with limited space but high throughput needs. The LM700 features dual-side access for external robot integration and full manual access, offering 9-12 on-deck positions and a total of 18 positions. The rear positions are ideal for wash stations, reagent reservoirs, disposable tip racks, or other labware/modules, giving you the flexibility to adapt to any workflow.

 96 VVP Head: This head is designed for high-throughput NGS workflows. 

It processes 96-well plates and can easily pipette into 384-well plates without recalibration. This means that whether you are running single plates or handling high-density plates, Lynx adapts instantly to meet your needs—perfect for sample pooling, serial dilutions, and normalisation in NGS prep. 


  • Dual Head: Available on the LM1800 and LM1200 models, the dual head configuration allows for greater flexibility when handling larger volumes or when precision across multiple plates is required. This dual head system ensures parallel pipetting for higher throughput, ideal for complex NGS prep workflows.
  • 24 channel 5mL Tips: Perfect for handling large volume transfers or more complex NGS prep workflows, this head can handle up to 5mL per channel, ideal for NGS workflows that require flexibility for varying volumes or applications such as high-throughput sequencing.

  1. Sample Normalisation:
    Using the 96 VVP head (or FlexTrough with MCPA), Lynx normalises sample volumes in less than 45 seconds for 96-well plates, speeding up this step dramatically. Whether you are processing small-scale libraries or running large genomic studies, Lynx delivers consistent normalisation—without recalibration, even when switching between 96-well and 384-well plates.

Pooling


The 96 VVP head enables efficient pooling of samples, reducing the number of pipetting motions required. The system handles the full workload with minimal user input, ensuring faster sample handling and reduced error rates—critical when pooling hundreds or even thousands of samples for high-throughput sequencing. 



Serial Dilutions:

Lynx excels at serial dilutions with real-time volume verification. The system can perform complex dilutions across multiple plates with 96 independent channels—ensuring that the results are precise and repeatable, even when scaling up to higher volumes or varying concentrations. 

FlexTrough and VVP96: The Most Efficient Pipetting System for NGS

 In traditional NGS systems, preparing 96-well plates requires hundreds of pipette actions—leading to increased error rates and time loss. With FlexTrough and VVP96, Lynx reduces pipetting motions by up to 90%.

  • FlexTrough enables the transfer of 2 plates of 96 samples with only 4 aspirates and 12 dispenses, compared to the 1280 motions required in a traditional 8-tip system.
  • VVP96 takes it even further: processing 2 plates of 96 samples with only 2 aspirates and 8 dispenses, completing the task in just 10 motions.

For 10 plates, Lynx can do the job in 100 aspirate or dispense motions—a far cry from the 1600 motions required by traditional systems. This means your lab saves time, reduces error, and increases throughput without sacrificing accuracy.
